The adapter plate is attached between the rocker and the sensor. It relocates the sensor outwards by 10 mm. We recommend mounting the adapter plate when the badassBox rubs against the spokes. This ensures that the badassBox maintains its full functionality. The adapter has absolutely no effect on the dismounting or mounting of the badassBox. Extra wide offset. Only needed for special purposes. Usually the 5 mm adapter is sufficient.

The Adapthor is an adapter with which you can mount your badass box with cable ties at any position on the chain stay. Especially suitable is the Adapthor for tight mounting situations, such as on road bikes and gravel bikes. A suitably trimmed pad from self-adhesive elastic foam is optional. This pad can be glued to the Adapthor to attach this to the chain stay without the risk of scratches.

The Slim Speed Sensor is found on bikes with Bosch motors, especially on the so-called Smart System. The speed sensor is either integrated in the rear axle area or - classically - mounted on the chain stay by means of a Bosch adapter. The presence of a spoke magnet indicates that it is mounted on the chain stay, whereas a magnet on the brake disc indicates that it is integrated. With the Slim Adapter you can place the Slim Speed Sensor (in case of integrated mounting) to a suitable place on the swingarm and fix it with cable ties or - in case of chainstay mounting - screw it to the chainstay instead of the original Bosch adapter. In both cases, our Slim Adapter ensures the use of the badassBox 4 Bosch. Installation The Bosch Slim Sensor is either mounted on the chain stay or integrated into the dropout. Here the slim speed sensor is classically mounted on the chain stay with an adapter. There, the sensor must be freed from the adapter, the original adapter is unscrewed and replaced by our adapter. Here the slim speed sensor is integrated near the rear axle. First, the rear wheel must be removed. Then the sensor is removed from the bracket and mounted with our adapter at a suitable place on the chain stay using cable ties.

The Badass CS adapter allows the mounting of the pin-shaped sensors, which are used e.g. for Flyer with Panasonic motors or Bulls with Brose motors, so that the badassBox can be used. Installation The pin-shaped CS sensor is located in the area of the dropout. To get to the sensor you have to remove the rear wheel. Unscrew the screws of the bracket that secures the sensor to the dropout. Separate the sensor from the bracket. Insert the pin-shaped sensor into the adapter so that the flat side of the sensor is aligned with the corresponding recess in the adapter. The sensor must be inserted completely into the adapter, so that only the cable protrudes and the snap closes flush with the surface of the adapter. (In the photo, the sensor is not yet completely inserted). Attach the adapter to the frame of your bike with the supplied cable ties. Reinstall the rear wheel. Slide the badassBox onto the adapter until it clicks into place. Mount the spoke magnet and align it with the edge of the badassBox housing. That's it. Have fun with your faster e-bike!

The badass G4 adapter allows the attachment of the G4 speed sensor from Bosch, which are used for example on Trek with Bosch motors, at a suitable location on the chain stay so that thereby the badassBox 4 Bosch can be used. A suitably trimmed pad from self-adhesive elastic foam is optional. This pad can be glued to the G4 adapter to attach this to the chain stay without the risk of scratches. Installation The integrated G4 Speed Sensor is located in the area of the dropout. To get to the sensor you have to remove the rear wheel. With the included button head screw you can screw the G4 speed sensor to the G4 adapter (1). (2) A suitably cut pad made of self-adhesive elastic foam is included as an option. This pad can be glued to the G4 adapter to attach it to the chain stay without the risk of scratches. With the enclosed cable ties (3), you can mount the G4 adapter including screwed G4 speed sensor at a suitable location on the chain stay (4), where it is possible to slide the badassBox over the adapter.
