If you already own a badassBox 5, you can use this adapter to tune your eBike with any motor that uses the Bosch Slim magnetic sensor. Please ensure compatibility with your eBike by checking the pictures below. Does your bike feature a Bosch Slim sensor? It might be inside a special housing as seen on the second picture. In either case this adapter fits your system.
The badassBox may not be operated in road traffic or within the scope of the German StVO. Use is only permitted on private property. Before using the badassBox, check whether and how its use is permitted in your area.
Fitting the badassBox may invalidate the bike's warranty. Use of the badassBox is at your own risk and peril.
We, the manufacturer, accept no liability for damage to objects and/or persons caused by improper use of the badassBox and/or accessories.
Despite all the claims by manufacturers and workshops, firmware updates and upgrades for e-bikes are also gateways to features that could take away or restrict your choice of tuning.
We therefore recommend that you do not carry out any updates or upgrades to the motor firmware or have them carried out, for example by a bike service center, in order to retain the option of tuning.
An e-bike that works probably does not need an update.
