Attention, only the pin-shaped sensor (first picture) is compatible with this variant -
for the normal sensor you need the badassBox 4 Specialized set
The badassBox 4 Specialized set Turbo Levo 2019 includes all the parts you need to mount the badassBox 4 Brose on your Specialized e-bike with pin-shaped sensor:
With the badassBox 4 Specialized set you not only get all the necessary parts to tune your e-bike in one 'click', but you also save money.
Installation
The integrated sensor is located in the area of the dropout.
To get to the sensor you have to remove the rear wheel.
Unscrew the screws of the bracket that secures the sensor to the dropout.
Remove the bracket from the sensor.
Slide the pin-shaped sensor into the adapter so that only the cable extends out and the snap closes flush with the surface of the adapter. (In the photo on the right, the sensor is not yet fully inserted).
Attach the adapter to the frame of your bike with the supplied cable ties.
Push the badassBox onto the adapter until it locks into place. The badassBox is then upside down (which does not affect the function).
Make sure that the sensor cable is securely fastened and cannot reach the brake disc under any circumstances.
Reinstall the rear wheel of your bike.
Mount the spoke magnet and align it with the edge of the badassBox housing. That's it. Have fun with your faster e-bike!
